Directions from West Ashley and the South:
Take Hwy 17N across the Ashley River to the Charleston peninsula. Take 1st Exit, Lockwood Boulevard to the right. In approximately 100 yards, turn left onto Calhoun Street. Proceed to Ashley Avenue (at traffic light) and turn left. Follow Ashley Avenue until it ends at Hampton Park. Bear right on the one-way Road around the park. Travel halfway around the park to 10th Street. Take a right onto 10th Street and proceed 3 blocks to St. Margaret Street. Turn left on to St. Margaret Street and proceed until it ends at the Ashley River. The entrance to Lowndes Grove is on your right.
Directions from Mt.Pleasant and North:
Take the Meeting St. exit off of the Authur Ravenel Bridge. Turn left at the light on to Meeting St. Make your first right at the next light onto Huger St. Take a right onto Rutledge Ave and at light, turn left onto Grove St. Follow Grove St. until just before it ends; then turn right onto 5th Ave. The Lowndes Grove gates will be straight in front of you.
Directions from I-26 and the Airport:
Take I-26 east to exit 219A-Rutledge/Citadel. Continue straight about 6/10th of a mile. Take a right onto St. Margaret Street and proceed until it ends at the Ashley River. The entrance to Lowndes Grove is on your right.
Direction from Downtown Charleston:
Take Calhoun Street to Ashley Avenue (a traffic light and one way street). Follow Ashley Avenue until it ends at Hampton Park. Bear right on the One-way Road around the park. Travel halfway around the park to 10th Street. Take a right onto 10th Street and proceed 3 blocks to St. Margaret Street. Turn left on to St. Margaret Street and proceed until it ends at the Ashley River. The entrance to Lowndes Grove is on your right.
